Few Words About Me
Darron Anderson, LCSWA, provides Fatherhood Counseling to fathers, father figures, and men. As The Clinical Father Engagement Specialist™, Darron works with fathers, professionals, and communities to help strengthen the family structure. His vision to increase the visibility of fathers and have them widely recognized as a high commodity, loyal, and a necessity to the family structure. Darron’s goals are to increase human capital, promote self-sufficiency, and encourage paternal involvement.
Mr. Anderson has been dedicated to the advancement of fathers and families for over 10 years and through his experiences has developed Fatherhood Counselling — an innovative and effective approach to address the everyday concerns of fathers and their families. His approach was awarded by the National Association of Counties (NACo) for his effectiveness with fathers of Wake County, North Carolina. Darron's methods of treatment are based on scientific research and professional experience as a clinician.
Darron is a U.S. Air Force Reserves veteran and holds graduate degrees in both Social Work and Human Behavior.
Working Experience
Darron has worked in mental health, substance abuse, education & administration, health & wellness, family services, homelessness, and military services. He is a strong self-care advocate and encourages parents to take care of themselves while taking care of others.
